Policy Analyst - Rural Pact

Patricia Martínez Sáez is a policy analyst at the Rural Pact Support Office (2023-2026), (a contract with DG AGRI & REGIO) that supports the implementation of the long-term vision for the EU’s rural areas. In this role, she is involved in the creation and animation of the Rural Pact Community, the implementation of events (webinars, policy labs, conferences), communication activities, and policy documents such as good practices and country pages.

With over 10 years of experience in EU programme and project management, she has led projects as a policy analyst and project manager and coordinated initiatives on social innovation, local development and social inclusion. She has worked on projects funded by Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020, AMIF, EaSI, COSME, Erasmus + and EuropeAid, contributing to evidence-based policymaking and capacity building.

Patricia holds degrees in Law and Political Science, as well as Master’s qualifications in European integration and project management, and is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian, French, and Portuguese.
